thanks! I hope to be back regularly now. The website I was working on is mostly done (although next I want to make one for me) and I am getting a bit antsy to create.
I also banged myself up pretty badly this weekend, so I am spending some time going through recent pics that I have not been able to work on until now.
I crashed pretty badly on the Velodrome (there are some awful photos of it out on flickr land somewhere I hear) and ended up in the hospital with some broken ribs, broken collarbone, bruised lung and a pretty solid concussion. The broken bone thing I can handle, but the loss of consciousness was a little scary and so I might just be keeping to the mountain bike in the near future...overall I was pretty lucky though and I am sort of enjoying a little time at home.
Only bummer is its hard to photoshop with one hand! Good thing the photo above needed very little....
I cant wait to spend some time checking out all your work!
oh, and for the curious, the new website is here

Glad to hear that you're getting back on flickr again....
Love the colors & textures of your image.......
I thought the mountain bike would be more dangerous than the Velodrome.....

Oh Sabine I hope you are behaving yourself and healing well i haven't had many broken bones thankfully but they can be a real...pain. Glad to see you back and hopefully the fire left you un-burned. Take care and stay on the bike...

Sheesh, I was wondering why I hadn't seen anything from you for a while. I'm glad you're at least intact, even if a bit bashed around. The very best of luck to you for a swift and painless recovery.

Hey Sabine..have missed your postings..Sunset Sundays and the stories.. and was almost going to email you to see how you were the other day! Obviously not too good - how scary! Hope you recover very soon and are not in too much pain.
Wonderful shot, loving all the colour, even though fire damaged - it will bounce back, just like you!
Off to check out your website.........
