And I forgot to compliment you on my last post. This is very nice. I assume you shot this with your SLR since it has such nice, shallow depth-of-field. Very nice composition and exposure. And the black-and-white is perfect for the subject. You are a photographic threat now :-)

Sweet stache. You should check Flickr for mustache groups. There are probably at least 100 :-D I agree that fans are good at track races. Same goes for cross races. They both draw a certain type of obsessive bike geek.
