Gee Em Cee

Hames Road, Corralitos, CA

I see this old truck by the side of the road alllll the time. And I keep threatening to photograph it. Well, today was its lucky day. Recent rains brought out not only the lovely mustard grass, but all sorts of rusty fungi on the truck.

I snagged some shots with my DSLR, but this was a crackberry shot I took so I could twitter it (someone stop me from all my various internet addictions).

What an lovely piece of art. Too bad they're letting it rust away.

I, too, see this almost everyday. I love your take on it. When I drive by this property I think of the Tom Waits song "What is he doing in there?".

Love the contrast of new spring growth and the rusty age of the truck! Terrific colors from that Blackberry. Very cool!

I pass this truck cycling all the time and every time I think about bringing the camera to take a shot of it. Never did, though. Nice job.
