Photo Break
The top of Anderson Dam in Morgan Hill, CA. I stopped to take a pic of the oncoming storm and noticed how damn cute my bike is. That there is the backpack I use to cart around my photo equipment while I ride. Bike is Kona Zing Supreme with custom bella paint.

I ride a road bike, too and can't figure out my photography bag and gear. I enjoy my rides so much more when I don't carry a backpack. I feel so free and unencumbered. And yet, feel like I miss out on a lot of photo opportunities!
I certainly don't want to weigh down my Specialized with panniers! When I carry a backpack, there is a good chance I will carry snacks, which means I will stay out and ride longer, which is good. But, when I do bring my camera, I have a tendency to ride less and mess with my camera more...sigh. Well, it's nice to see someone else carrying a backpack and stopping to take pics.
