Sunsetflowers
Sunflowers sometimes line the blackberry fields in Corralitos to protect them from wind I suppose. Sunflowers grow fast and then die quickly. These flowers were well past their prime. Even without the fancy sky in the background, these flowers are quite a sight. Some were ten feet or taller, their large heads drooping. Within about a week of this shot, all of the flowers had completely died and fallen.

I have a silouhette version, sans flash, and it reminds me of mystery science theater. I might have to post it.
