Except, this was a cattle ranch, which meant that drinking out of your bottle after the crossing was a risky prospect

Thanks P-J. Yes, a crop. I call it the Frishi crop. Because i love bike boys' legs and arms.
They held a norba national there last year and this year will again.
Some folks in the Santa Barbara area are working with a local cattle ranch owner. They are building a network of trails on the ranch and will be having about 8 races there (including dh and ds) and nationals. They are also going to open it up to day ($5) use.
The trails aren't that technical, but its absolutely gorgeous scenery. We had an awesome time there yesterday.
