On the hill over there

Oaks at Harvey Bear Park, San Martin, CA

Yes, I spend a lot of time at Harvey Bear. Its only 5 mintes away from my work and I go there often for lunch or after work rides. Its quite the luxury and keeps me sane. mostly.

View large because its more fun that way

Yup..Best thing to do to keep hold of some sanity in a world that sometimes drives us crazy...walk (or in your case, cycle!) amongst beautiful nature. Love to walk here...what a place. Love the dark edges and that beautiful light...and those majestic Oaks.

Lovely perspective, which gives it a bit of an otherworldly feel. The colors are nicely shifted as well.

Great compositon. Is it me or do the trees look like they might be talking to each other? (So much for my sanity!)

they are! They're saying: "holy shit its windy!" "I know and I'm thirsty why doesn't it ever rain around here?" "I know!, we should move to someplace warmer and rainy-er "and with less cow poop!" "totally" "totally"

The trees seem like they're leaning towards the clouds to hear better. Really love the vignetting and tones too.

This is beautiful. I love the way the tree doesn't fall flat with the ground, and actually POPS (glows) and stands out. Excellent.
