I'm seeing the first signs of wildflowers out on the trails too. Spring comes early here.
This tree is fascinating because all of the rain has caused a growth of moss all over the tree and its just stunning contrasted against the blossoms...just haven't been able to capture that well yet.
Gonna have to lurk about in my neighbor's yard and try again.

and GG, the mud did not come off my shoes. It just added to the mud that was there when I tried (but failed) to shoot the eclipse in a big mustard field.
