Gold Tide
Salinas River State Beach, Moss Landing, CA.
The receding waves left this layer of gold. I tried to take another pic after the next wave, but the lighting that produced it was gone even by then.
And then I promise, no more cliche sunset photos…for now anyway

I added a bit of saturation to the photo but not much. I used PS Elements. I also cooled the tones a little and upped the contrast. I didn't do anything selective to the waves.
